Description:

Virus is a single-player 2D platformer built using Torque X and Microsoft's XNA Game Builder. The player controls a Virus, who must navigate through the body of a mad scientist in order to kill him (and thereby save the world).

This was our first team game project at the Guildhall; it was assigned to us in our first term. None of us had game development experience going into the project, so the project as a whole was a huge learning experience.

I tackled the project management aspects of the project, implementing things I'd learned from reading books on producing and game development. One of the major practices I introduced in this project was the use of Daily Deltas. Daily Deltas are daily emails sent out to the group, updating the team on tasks completed. This worked very well in a small team.
